Churchill -Beluga Tour
Every summer approximately 3, 000 beluga whales travel from the Arctic to the warm waters of Manitoba’s Churchill River to give birth and feed on capelin & Lake Cisco fish. Join us this summer to experience these very social mammals while they swim, eat & play creating a magical moment as we observe them from the zodiac, boat & kayak! The kayak tour provides a spiritual moment having hundreds of belugas swimming around you! Free time allows you to schedule an additional kayak time on your own if you wish!
In August you will discover the tundra has come alive turning green with wildflowers that have burst into bloom creating the perfect backdrop for additional wildlife viewing! While the beluga whales are plentiful you may also have sightings of polar bears, Arctic & red fox, snowy owl, Arctic hare and ptarmigans! Journey north with us to the shores of Hudson Bay where your Arctic adventure awaits you!
